I've had a fit of nostalgia (which happens quite often because I'm addicted to it), and I kept thinking about what got me through junior high and the beginning of high school. Since when did I start losing contact with my online friends? Since all of us starting growing up and forgetting about the internet lives we had? But honestly, at the time, those friendships were very real to me, and they were all I really had.

I remembeerr.... Alli from FFI, Imil who was one of my original sister sites, Glitz who I met through Alli, Lilly (DEFP? I can't even remember what that stands for anymore or how I even met you) who hosted my main site all the time, Kisla who was a sister site, Ruenis from the Threads of Fate group blog, all the Lumi forum frequenters.... Er, I think that's it. HAHA. Ahh I don't know! Do any of you still use LJ a lot?

I just think it's a bit sad that something that was such a big part of my life before is kinda... Gone? Reading through my old entries, you guys were the only ones I really talked about and talked to. O.o

I can also see that I got grounded quite often and was a moody kid.

I just felt like posting because I haven't posted on this thing for what... a year? I was reading through my entries and just realized how interested I was in learning more about myself and just how writing in this helped me to organize my thoughts into a cohesive manner. My worries that I wrote down here were so trivial compared to what I wrote in my hand-written journal. Why did I stop writing in here? Reading my old entries, it's just so nice to actually archive what I did; it makes you remember things you would've otherwise forgotten. And also the online friendships that I'd made before; they used to be so important to me. Those people who I talked to soo often before through AIM. Wow. It's kind of sad that I lost touch with them considering how much I talked to them. I miss the days when I made sites and was active in the online community. It was fun to do. Oh wells.

Now I'm in my second year of university studying Urban Studies. (I started being active in the online community when I was in 6th grade.) It is almost final exam time and term papers are due, but I somehow got caught up in this and am now procrastinating in order to post this slightly nostalgia-inspired entry.

Reading my entries from before... Whoa, I must've changed, because now I'm not so "happy" sounding on the internet but in real life I'm more outgoing. Opposite from before! Wow, that's pretty interesting actually. Is it like... When people who were cruel to other kids in junior high grow up and then change to become such nice people? I wonder if a lot of people change into the opposite of what they used to be as kids!

Uhh yea... I should do my term paper. D: It's on Geography, how children view maps. It's supposed to be a paper just reporting the current findings on the topic but... I have NO idea how to do a paper like that! I'm too used to those analytical papers where you can just BS stuff. Hahaha. Except I wasn't very good at them... O.o Wait, does LJ have smilies? I wanna use smilies. I like the mini ones that look so cute and simple. xD
